Dr. Thomas Spaeter is an award-winning scientist with many years of research experience in the field of Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine. After receiving his PhD from the German Institute of Clinical & Experimental Surgery (Saarland University) with special honors, Thomas continued his research at the Regenerative Medicine Institute of the Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Beverly Hills. His research focuses on the development of novel vascularization strategies for tissue implants, phytochemical-induced thrombosis prevention, and stem cell-based tissue engineering approaches for the treatment of age-related diseases, such as lower back pain, intervertebral disc injuries, and ligament rupture. Currently, Thomas is conducting research on the impact of potentially toxic substances on bone formation during embryogenesis at the University of California in Riverside.
