I'm a Cell Biologist with a specialization in Human Aging & Age-Related Pathologies. I completed my PhD from Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru India. I am working on improving human healthspan, focusing on translational research & technology. I'm a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Longevity Research Group at IISc. I am also the lead coordinator of the Longevity India Initiative, a deep-science and technology hub to enable healthy aging.

Scientist, Human Aging & Related Pathologies

I am presently working as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Indian Institute of Science, specializing in longevity research. My research focus revolves around elucidating signaling pathways associated with aging and age-related diseases, employing an integrative approach encompassing cell biology, molecular biology, and advanced microscopy techniques. I obtained my Ph.D. in microbiology in 2018 and have since accrued four years of postdoctoral experience with a specific emphasis on Aging biology.

Following the successful publication of my Ph.D. research in esteemed journals, I secured the esteemed DS Kothari Postdoctoral Fellowship awarded by UGC, India. During this transformative period, I transitioned my specialization to aging biology and conducted my postdoctoral research at the prestigious Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India. Despite the challenges posed by the COVID era, I acquired valuable skills and authored significant publications.

The subsequent phase of my postdoctoral career commenced with the Biocare Fellowship from Department of Biotechnology, Government of India, a highly competitive award involving a generous funding obtained through a rigorous selection process. In this phase, my research focuses on the exploring 3D-formulations for anti-aging drug delivery.
