I have always focused on studying the apoptotic processes of red blood cells induced by cigarette smoke in parallel with the evaluation of the biological activity of phytochemicals and functional foods.
My curiosity and interdisciplinary background make me a critical and enthusiastic researcher. Research, discovery, scientific outreach, and networking are the elements that, in my view, encapsulate the essence of my work.
