I am a 4th year MD-PhD student pursuing my PhD in Genetics in the lab of Keith Choate, MD, PhD. My research focuses on applying animal models, spatial transcriptomics, and three-dimensional cell culture systems to study genetic skin diseases, specifically exploring how barrier dysfunction and cellular interactions contribute to inflammation in epidermal differentiation disorders. Prior to coming to Yale, I graduated in 2019 from the University of Southern California with a degree in Chemical Engineering and completed a two-year Postbaccalaureate Research Fellowship at the National Institutes of Health working on hematopoietic stem cell and natural killer cell biology.
