I am a researcher specializing in chronic myelogenous leukemia (CML), particularly focusing on CML stem cells, which are the origin of most mature CML cells and are responsible for disease relapse. 
My research has demonstrated that metabolic pathways are essential for the in vivo TKI resistance of CML stem cells (Nature 2010; Nature Communications 2015, 2020).
These findings may contribute to the development of novel therapies that specifically target cancer stem cells, providing new avenues toward curative treatments for patients.
