I hold a Ph.D. in Bioinformatics from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN), where I specialized in using convolutional neural networks for viral classification and phylogenetic analysis, particularly focusing on SARS-CoV-2 variants. My work combines expertise in machine learning, Python, R, Linux, and MATLAB to advance research in viral genomics and artificial intelligence applications.

Currently, I am a Bioinformatics Researcher at InovAI Lab, working on a pharmacogenomics platform utilizing AI and genomic data for the Unified Health System (SUS). With a Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences and a strong foundation in Chemical Engineering, I bring a multidisciplinary approach to problem-solving in bioinformatics, AI, and public health.

In addition to research, I have contributed to the Pan American Health Organization, analyzing COVID-19 variants using Illumina NGS technologies, and have taught courses in chemistry, biosafety, and more. I am passionate about leveraging AI to address health challenges, with a focus on epidemiology, genomics, and the development of synthetic biopharmaceuticals.
