I am a Biologist with a Ph.D. in Biological Chemistry from the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina, and the director of my laboratory, Virus Biophysics, at the CIBION center of CONICET. I have established myself as an expert in studying proteins and their interactions with DNA and lipids, focusing on their stability, structure, dynamics, and molecular evolution. My current research centers on understanding the proteomic homeostasis of human serum and how its disruption by emerging viral diseases and age-related conditions can be pivotal for detecting and addressing public health challenges. I combine scientific rigor with technological innovation—including cryo-EM, thermodynamics, and AI—to generate insights and advance the understanding of fundamental life processes.
