Social Scientist and Bioethicist, Master’s (2013) and Ph.D. (2017) in Medical Sciences and Bioethics from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS). Between 2015 and 2016, served as a Visiting Researcher at the Department of Medical Ethics and Health Policy at the University of Pennsylvania (Penn) through the PDSE/CAPES Doctoral Sandwich Program. Currently, a Full Professor in the Graduate Program in Health Promotion and the Graduate Program in Human and Social Sciences at Cesumar University (UniCesumar) in Maringá, working with the undergraduate programs in Multimedia Communication and Advertising. Since 2024, he has been the Coordinator of the Research Ethics Committee at the same institution. He leads the CNPq Research Group on "Bioethics and Health Promotion" and is an Associate Researcher at the Laboratory for Research on Bioethics and Ethics in Science at the Porto Alegre University Hospital (LAPEBEC/HCPA). Additionally, he is a Senior Voluntary Research Collaborator in the Graduate Program in Bioethics at the University of Brasília (UnB) and a Research Fellow under the Productivity in Research for Doctor (PPD) program of the Cesumar Institute of Science, Technology, and Innovation (ICETI).
