Cerium aluminate was synthesized and sintered using a solid-state method followed by Spark Plasma Sintering. This combination leads to fully dense materials. This study presents a novel two-step solid-state synthesis method for CeAlO3 via the control of intermediary reactants, highlighting its potential for obtaining high-purity CeAlO3-based ceramics. The sintered material's thermal and electrical properties were characterized. The results provide insights into the synthesis and properties of CeAlO3 like an electrical conductivity of 2.9 10-8 S.cm−1 and a thermal conductivity of 4.5 W.m−1. K−1.
