Objectives The purpose of this study is to analyze the problems that occurred while operating real-time online English subject designed to improve English communication skills, which are essential competencies for global talents, and to propose a final value innovation strategy by applying the ERRC framework. Methods To this end, the ERRC framework was derived by analyzing problems through a survey in the first stage of this survey targeting 315 students who participated in a real-time online English subject conducted at a university A and through in-depth interviews with 9 participating students in the second stage. In the result analysis stage, the validity of the ERRC strategy was verified through in-depth interviews with 10 experts, and the final ERRC value innovation strategy was derived. Results As a result of the study, it was found that students were dissatisfied with the improvement of their conversation skills and the evaluation and results of classes, and in particular, they were highly dissatisfied with the access to class media and overall use of class environment factors. As a solution to this, four value strategies were derived: âdeletion of guidelines that must be taken directly in the school computer roomâ as a removal factor, âreinforcement of feedback from native-speaking professorsâ as an increasing factor. As a reduction factor, âreduction of classroom computer failures/errorsâ was derived, and as a creative factor, six value strategies were derived, including âdevelopment of an advanced instructional media systemâ. Conclusions This study is meaningful in that it analyzes the problem by considering the environmental aspects of the organization rather than solving the problem of education only by instructors such as teaching methods to education experts and organizational operators, and draws a solution by applying the ERRC framework. The value innovation strategy can be used as a practical and creative problem-solving method to improve students' global capabilities.
