Chronic inflammation is a common feature in diabetes, especially when blood sugar levels are poorly controlled. This chronic low-grade inflammation can affect various organs, including the kidneys. Podocyte damage play a key role in the development of diabetic nephropathy (DN). The aim of the study was to evaluate the nephroprotective effect of Boeravinone B (BB) against streptozotocin (STZ) induced DN in rats and explore the underlying mechanism.
