Purpose: An increasing older population with multiple long-term health conditions is resulting in growing pressure on adult community rehabilitation services and longer waiting times. Video calls allow staff and patients to speak and see each other in real-time and studies have shown that they can be used instead of face-to-face visits. This could reduce waiting times and prevent unnecessary hospital admissions. However, evidence in the community rehabilitation setting is limited and understanding the needs of both staff and patients is important.
