To the Editor: There are few studies addressing Merkel cell carcinoma (MCC) in patients with skin of color.1 Given Hispanics are one of the fastest-growing demographic groups in the United States, there is an urgent need to identify prognosis and Hispanic-specific risk factors for this aggressive tumor.2 This study aims to determine if survival varies between Hispanic and non-Hispanic patients with MCC. Secondary objectives were to determine factors associated with survival among Hispanics.
