Abstract

Intravenous digoxin is still used in emergency departments (EDs) to treat patients with acute heart failure (AHF), especially in those with rapid atrial fibrillation. We investigated whether intravenous digoxin used to treat rapid atrial fibrillation in patients with AHF may influence mortality.
