Abstract

The high strength and ductility Zn–Mn–Li alloys with heterogeneous lamellar (HL) structure were prepared by rotary swaging. Li(Mn,Zn)4 phase was identified as the matrix phase. Grain refinement and hetero-deformation induced strengthening. Grain sliding and activation of more pyramidal slip system increase the strain.
