Research on Black Start Control Strategy of Offshore Wind Turbine Based on Grid-forming Control

Abstract

With the gradual increase of new energy power generation, the operation of the power system is becoming more and more complex, and extreme weather and other factors are easy to cause grid failures and lead to major power outages. It is very important to ensure the normal operation and continuous uninterrupted power supply of the power system, so black start technology should be studied to deal with sudden failures. In this paper, the offshore wind power is taken as the black start power source, the mathematical model of the grid-forming PMSG is established, the grid -forming PMSG control strategy based on virtual synchronous generator is analyzed, a grid type PMSG black start strategy is designed, and finally the wind storage AC microgrid model is built to verify the proposed black start strategy.
