Abstract

In this edition of “Interview the Expert,” we are joined by our Associate Editor Margaret Roller, a renowned expert in qualitative methodology and passionate supporter of mixed-methods research. Margaret is the lead author of the book she co-wrote with Paul Lavrakas “Applied Qualitative Research Design: A Total Quality Framework Approach,” which received the AAPOR Book Award in 2021. Margaret is a professional moderator and interviewer with a 40-plus-year career in qualitative research. She shares her expertise and knowledge on the many aspects of quality research design in her blog “Research Design Review” and delivers training in qualitative methods.
