With the continuous development of cloud-edge technology, the collaborative system has become an essential method for industrial production and management. However, existing cloud-edge system almost applies in industrial situation and ignore the household environment. In this work, we utilize a hybrid cloud-edge architecture where the edge component processes real-time data locally, while the cloud component handles extensive data storage and analysis. The smart household gateway serves as the central node in this architecture, facilitating communication and data exchange between devices and the cloud-edge system. From our extensive simulation results, we can observe that the proposed model can significantly improve the data processing speed, reliability, and save the computation costs through comparing with traditional cloud-only systems. Additionally, the system provides enhanced privacy and security features by minimizing the amount of sensitive data transmitted to the cloud.
