Abstract

In [1], in Fig. 2 of the original version of the editorial, the relationship between the impact on gross domestic product (GDP) and the severity of these casualties is plotted for different events. As the SARS data used in the editorial were from, as well as related to China, it was labeled "China, SARS," under the data point. Since the information on disease naming has been provided by the World Health Organization, it is more appropriate to label the data point as "SARS in China" in Fig. 2.
