With the increasing complexity of nuclear power plant systems, traditional alarm systems struggle to provide effective early warning and response across multiple operating states and potential faults. In response, this paper proposes an intelligent alarm algorithm based on a multi-level flow model, aimed at significantly enhancing the safety and operational efficiency of nuclear power plants. Initially, the paper underscores the necessity of integrating intelligent alarm systems into the safety management of nuclear power plants. It then introduces the theoretical framework of the multilayer flow model, followed by a detailed exposition of the steps involved in designing and implementing the intelligent alarm algorithm based on this model. The adaptive capabilities and accuracy of the alarm system are also validated. In the application section, the effectiveness of t he intelligent alarm algorithm is demonstrated through a case study of an actual nuclear power plant system, verifying its superiority in fault detection and resolution. This study endeavors to develop an effective intelligent alarm solution for th e nuclear power industry, providing a theoretical foundation and practical support for the safety management and operational optimization of nuclear power plants.
