Contaminated particles are important factor affecting the reliable operation of aircraft hydraulic systems. The complex movement mode of contaminated particles in the hydraulic fluid makes it difficult to analyse system failures. This paper proposes a topology network model that can describe the movement of contaminated particles within the hydraulic system. Firstly, the motion state of contaminated particles inside the hydraulic pipelines is analysed, and a particle motion model based on drag force is established. Then, the hydraulic system pipeline and component flow model is constructed. A cascading model of contaminated particles propagation is constructed based on the flow in pipelines and components. Finally, taking the A380 civil aircraft as an example, the number of contaminated particles in each key component is calculated, and the variation patterns of contaminated particles in the hydraulic system is revealed.
