An essential part of gear pump performance study is the simulation of the fluid flow field in an aviation fuel gear pump. However, there are issues with model complexity, computation accuracy, and burden because of the gear pump's intricate structure and variable operating conditions. This work proposes the lumped parameter approach to calculate the flow rate and internal flow field pressure. First, flow relationships are used to segment the flow field. After that, a mathematical model with lumped parameters is created, taking the fluid flow circumstances into account. Ultimately, a gear pump internal flow field simulation model is built. The output findings significantly shorten the simulation time and demonstrate the model's accuracy.
