There are two very important things that wet-lab scientists should do:
(1) Be safe
(2) Make good records of what they do. This helps with reproducibility.
However, not everyone wears the safety glasses [insert guilty face] and I think any scientists would agree we should take better care at documenting our work.
What if the solution could be combined?
Well, i saw Meta recently created ‘Headliner’ glasses (Ray-Ban) that can be used for taking photos and videos. Now, while these are stylish and have a target audience, it would be good to have a more practical version for the scientist.
Not only can I wear my glasses and be safe, but it is a more convenient way of tracking what I am actually doing. Would anyone besides myself actually use this?
