Indeed, despite the centuries-old achievements of mankind in various fields of science, including zoology, nature continues to surprise us with its creations. Even now, new species of the animal kingdom continue to be discovered on the planet, the existence of which was impossible to believe quite recently – they seem so unusual. I present to your attention a list of ten unique representatives of the animal world, some of which have existed for many dozens (or even hundreds!) millions of years.
