Buddhist Mantra Sound Characteristics (Om Mani Padme Hum)

The dB average for the Buddhist Mantra sound treatment was 59.05 +/- 5.94 dB.
Max dB was 69.20 and Min dB was 45.4 (Background noise accounting for pauses in the speech pattern)

This is around the same volume as someone talking. This was measured with a sound meter (1) capturing points every 5 seconds for 2 hours.

The peak frequencies of the track were between 255-520 Hz with brief intervals between 555-720 Hz. There are 3 distinct peaks at 515-520 Hz, 385-390 Hz, and 255-260 Hz (Figure 2), which are highlighted at the different parts of the chant (Figure 3).

For those that are interested in what I have been listening to constantly throughout this experiment (because the soundproofing is not 100% efficient on my enclosure), the sound file can be found here.
