The detection of lung cancer is a critical factor in enhancing patient survival rates. The integration of intelligent computer-aided systems can significantly aid radiologists in this endeavour. The present study centres on the development of a machine learning-oriented methodology aimed at detecting lung cancer through the analysis of text-based medical data extracted from authentic medical reports. The present dataset encompasses a range of machine learning algorithms that have been utilised for binary classification purposes. These algorithms include Support Vector Machines (SVM), Logistic Regression, Gradient Boosting, and Catboost. The objective of this study is to determine the optimal algorithm for the detection of lung cancer with the highest degree of accuracy. By means of comprehensive experimentation, the SVM and Logistic Regression models yielded the highest accuracy rates of 95% and 94%, respectively. The findings of this study indicate the capability of machine learning algorithms in the prompt identification of lung cancer, thereby facilitating enhanced diagnosis and timely intervention.

Colorectal cancer (CRC) is the commonly diagnosed malignancy presenting either in obstruction or without obstruction. Bowel obstruction (BO) is usually a complication of advanced cancer, significantly reducing the quality of life. We aimed to study the outcomes of these obstructed colorectal cancers requiring emergency intervention and compare it with nonobstructed cancers.

Milkfish is one of the freshwater fish commodities highly favored by the community, as evidenced by the increasing market demand annually. The demand for milkfish nursery continuously rises in line with the expansion of milkfish enlargement efforts for bait and consumption sizes. Therefore, intensive engineering of milkfish nursery production technology is necessary to fulfill the nursery demand both in quantity and quality. This research aims to understand milkfish cultivation practices with the nursery production system in Turi District, Lamongan Regency, and analyze the production factors influencing milkfish cultivation with the aforementioned system. This study employs a quantitative descriptive method. Data collected include both primary and secondary data, gathered through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation techniques. The research findings indicate that factors positively affecting the income of milkfish farmers with the nursery production system include seed costs, fertilizer costs, and land area. This implies that the higher the utilization of these variables, the greater the income. On the other hand, labor costs and feed costs do not positively influence the income of milkfish farmers with the nursery production system.

Being a checkpoint, the expression level of V-set immunoregulatory receptor (VSIR) serves as an indicator of the extent of immunosuppression. Our objective was to undertake a pan-cancer analysis to examine the expression, genetic alterations, prognosis, and immunologic features associated with VSIR.
