To achieve accurate PID control of polyvinyl chloride distillation process, a bacterial foraging optimization (BFO) based on particle swarm optimization (PSO) is proposed to search for the optimal PID parameters. The optimal values are found in the Kp, Ki, and Kd parameter spaces to achieve the optimal control effect of the system. Consider the historical optimal positions of particles and particle swarm, and improve the chemotaxis factor in the BFO algorithm. The simulation results show that PSO-BFO improves the performance of the control system, meets the requirements of automatic control, and improves accuracy, speed, and stability, making the system run better and solving the problem of substandard control in the PVC distillation process.

With the acceleration of globalization, foreign language education in colleges and universities has been paid more and more attention. Combined with the development of artificial intelligence, ChatGPT is also widely used in the educational sector. In the future of technology-facilitated education, it will be more closely integrated with foreign language education to create better teaching activities for teachers and students. This paper aims to analyze the necessity of ChatGPT joining the college English reading teaching module through the shortage of educational resources and the dilemma of teaching mode. This paper also clarifies its possible advantages and disadvantages, as well as the corresponding use of various characteristics of the teaching scene. It examines the relationship between this artificial intelligence tool and the two parties, namely teachers and students, and the definition of their roles. The final conclusion of this paper is expected to lead the public to have a deeper understanding of ChatGPT, or to alert users to cautiously and correctly view the role of AI tools in the teaching and learning domain.

College students will face more and more English textbooks and papers in their studies and research, so reading quickly and efficiently is an ability that college students should have. However, for most students, it is a challenge for them. Because the traditional reading teaching methods, based on English scores, do not truly improve their reading ability, even students with better English scores cannot understand the text content correctly. Therefore, this paper will introduce three reading methods that are different from the traditional one: the Problem-based learning (PBL) teaching method, the Narrative teaching method, and the Genre-based teaching method. The purpose is to change the teaching mode of the one-way output of core English knowledge by the teacher, take the students as the teaching centre, and improve reading ability as the teaching goal. Teachers will guide the students to master English knowledge in cooperative learning and to improve their reading ability with novel teaching methods.

Humanoid robots are typically designed for static environments, but real-world applications demand robust performance under dynamic, uncertain conditions. This paper introduces a perceptive motion planning and control algorithm that enables humanoid robots to navigate and operate effectively in environments with unpredictable kinematic and dynamic disturbances. The proposed algorithm ensures synchronized multi-limb motion while maintaining dynamic balance, utilizing real-time feedback from force, torque, and inertia sensors. Experimental results demonstrate the algorithm's adaptability and robustness in handling complex tasks, including walking on uneven terrain and responding to external disturbances. These findings highlight the potential of perceptive motion planning in enhancing the versatility and resilience of humanoid robots in uncertain environments. The results have potential applications in search-and-rescue missions, healthcare robotics, and industrial automation, where robots operate in unpredictable or dynamic conditions.
