I am currently an Associate Professor of Chemistry at Texas Tech University. I earned my bachelor's degree at the University of Utah and a PhD at MIT studying peptide and protein folding with 2D IR spectroscopy. From 2008-2011 I was a postdoctoral researcher with Jay T. Groves at UC Berkeley. My research is using fluorescence spectroscopy and imaging to study membrane protein structure and function.
