Ecological sensitivity assessment is an important basis for formulating ecological environment planning and regional environmental policies. This manuscript is based on the theory of ecological sensitivity and utilizes GIS data platforms to select six sensitive factors, including slope, aspect, elevation, precipitation, temperature, and vegetation, from the Zhengxiangbai Banner in Xilingol League, and construct an evaluation index system. Then, the Analytic Hierarchy Process was used to determine the weights of each sensitive factor. Divide the sensitivity of the six factors into five levels: extremely high sensitivity, high sensitivity, medium sensitivity, low sensitivity, and non sensitivity, and finally obtain the spatial distribution of ecological sensitivity of the Zhengxiangbai Banner. The results show that the ecological sensitivity of Zhengxiang Baiqi is mainly medium to high sensitivity, with extremely high sensitivity, high sensitivity, medium sensitivity, low sensitivity, and non sensitivity areas accounting for 9%, 20%, 27%, 27%, and 16% of the total area, respectively. Based on existing data, analyze the ecological sensitivity of Zhengxiangbai Banner and obtain a comprehensive ecological sensitivity evaluation. Based on the evaluation results, propose ecological protection suggestions to provide scientific basis for the ecological protection of Zhengxiangbai Banner.
