I am a Professor and Consultant in Rehabilitation Medicine, a Pain Specialist and Bioethicist working at the Quetta Institute of Medical Sciences, Quetta. I describe myself as a rehabilitation physician, learner, teacher, and mentor. With over 240 publications and > 4700 citations, I am a renowned expert in my field. I have been an invited and plenary speaker in multiple national and international conferences, chairing and co-chairing scientific sessions. I have received numerous awards, travel grants, and scholarships, and I am an editorial board member of several international biomedical journals. I also serve as the national representative of Pakistan for the International Society of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (ISPRM) and Asia-Oceanian Society of PMR.

I have conducted over 140 workshops on medical writing, use of AI tools in research, scientific misconduct, research ethics, evidence-based medicine, and presentation skills around the world. My areas of interest and research include spinal cord injuries, stroke rehabilitation, amputee management, disaster rehabilitation, medical education, and bioethics. I am also the Co-Editor in Chief of the JISPRM and the Current Chair of the Disaster Rehabilitation Committee of ISPRM.
